Welcome
It's my hope to see this become a collection of little things that make up the whole. In other words, maybe this can help in understanding how I'm made and what makes me tick. My motivation is mostly for my kids, grandkids, all those who follow.
I've noticed in genealogy and other interests that with each generation, things seem to slip away. Bits and pieces of each life that are fascinating to find out, are not recorded in any way. I'm pretty plain and simple, but even so I want to try to pass some things on.

My Story
You should know something about me. I learned years ago that God had a plan for my life and desired to have a relationship with me. He could provide me with peace, purpose and so much more.
I was told that my sin separated me from God and that God wanted to fix it. I had no means of fixing it myself. My very best efforts would always fall short of the Holy God. God loved me so much that He sent his only Son, Jesus, to come to Earth and live a perfect life. Jesus was then crucified on a cross for my sins. Three days later He rose from the dead and walked the Earth again for about forty days and was seen by and talked to hundreds of people. He then ascended to heaven to live with His Father once again.
I learned that if I believed all that Jesus did for me, asked Him to enter my life, forgive my sin and direct me from now on, He would do all that and give me the peace and purpose I was missing.
All I needed to do was pray a simple prayer. I did so and my life changed. People witnessed the change in my life and told me they saw a difference in me. I knew I was different. Now, my life is so blessed. Not perfect. Not a bed of roses. Blessed.
Jesus provides so much peace and joy. The best part is that we as believers get to go live with Jesus in heaven forever when we finish up here on Earth. Jesus did those things for me and He did them for you too!
If you believe that Jesus did all this for you and would like to follow Him as I have, pray this simple prayer:
Dear Jesus,
I know I have sinned and made mistakes.
Please forgive my sin.
I ask you to come into my life.
Be the Boss and Lord of my life.
Thank you for dying on the cross to forgive my sin.
